Remodels & Walk-In Showers
Full bathroom remodels, walk-in showers, custom glass and accessibility upgrades across metro Atlanta, North Georgia and the Chattanooga region. A bathroom that works better does not have to look like it was built for a hospital.
Who we are
Elevation is a bathroom remodeling contractor working across metro Atlanta, North Georgia and the Chattanooga region. We do full remodels, shower and tub replacements, vanities, flooring, custom glass, and accessibility work, with the same crew doing all of it.
People come to this page for two different reasons. Some want a dated bathroom to stop looking dated. Others need a shower somebody can actually get into safely. Those are usually treated as separate industries, which is why accessible bathrooms so often end up looking clinical. They are the same job done properly, and we build them that way.
What we do
From a single shower replacement to the whole room back to the studs.
The whole room planned as one project. Layout, plumbing fixtures, tile, lighting and storage decided together, so the finished bathroom works as a room rather than as a set of separate upgrades.
Replacing a tub or a stepped shower pan with a walk-in or low-threshold shower. Easier to get into every day of the year, and the most common single change people ask us for.
For homeowners who want to keep a bath rather than move to a shower. A door in the side of the tub removes the step over the rim, which is where most bathroom falls actually happen.
Grab bars, shower benches, safety showers and low thresholds, specified for the person using the room. Fitted into the structure behind the wall, not screwed to the tile and hoped for.
New vanities, cabinetry and countertops, sized to give you the storage the old bathroom never had. Often the change that makes the biggest difference day to day.
LVP and tile flooring, modern lighting and fixtures. Floors get specified for a wet room rather than for a showroom, which matters more here than anywhere else in the house.
Showers and glass
In most bathrooms the shower settles everything else. It takes the space, it sets the tile, and it decides whether the room feels open or closed in. These are the choices that actually matter:
How it works
The same person stays with your project from the first visit to the last.
We look at the actual room, the layout and what is behind the walls where we can, then talk through what you want it to do.
Fixtures, finishes, sequence and cost in writing before anything starts. You know what is going into the room.
Demolition, rough-in, waterproofing, tile and fixtures, done in order by the same crew rather than passed between trades.
We go through the finished bathroom with you before the job is called complete.
Accessibility
The reason people put off accessibility work is almost never the work itself. It is the picture in their head of what the bathroom will look like afterwards: white plastic, bare rails, a room that announces something about whoever uses it.
It does not have to go that way. A grab bar can be the same finish as the shower fittings. A bench can be tiled in as part of the design. A low threshold reads as a choice rather than a concession. Done at the remodel stage, the safety features are built into the room instead of added onto it, and the bathroom simply looks like a good bathroom.

Common questions
The things homeowners ask us most often before starting.
No. Plenty of our work is a single change: replacing a tub with a walk-in shower, fitting a new vanity, or redoing the floor. A full remodel makes sense when the layout itself is the problem or when several things are failing at once. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in.
It depends on whether you want to keep bathing. A walk-in shower is easier to get into, opens up the floor space and suits most households. A walk-in tub keeps the bath but removes the step over the rim. If it is the only bathroom in the house, that also factors in. We will go through both rather than pushing one.
Yes, and that is most of what we get asked to do. Grab bars come in the same finishes as the rest of the fittings, benches can be tiled in as part of the shower, and a low threshold looks like a design decision because it is one. Built in during a remodel, none of it reads as medical equipment.
LVP and tile are the two we fit most. LVP is warmer underfoot, more forgiving and generally easier on the budget. Tile gives you more design range and lets the floor and the shower work as one surface. Both handle a wet room properly, which is the part that matters, and we will match the choice to how the room gets used.
In a small bathroom, usually yes. Frameless glass is cut to your opening instead of ordered to a standard size, so it fits properly and keeps the sightline across the room open. A framed enclosure costs less and is a perfectly reasonable choice. The difference shows most in bathrooms that are already tight.
Somebody comes out and looks at the actual room, because bathroom quotes given over the phone are guesses. You get a written scope covering fixtures, finishes, sequence and cost before anything is scheduled. It is free and there is no obligation.
