Who we are

A Roofing Contractor That Gets on the Roof.

Elevation is a residential roofing contractor working across metro Atlanta, North Georgia and the Chattanooga region. We handle roof repair, full roof replacement, storm damage, and inspections on both shingle and metal roofs.

Most roofing problems are not visible from the driveway, and nobody can diagnose a roof from a photo on a phone. Somebody comes out, gets up there, and looks at the decking, the flashing and the valleys before a number is written down.

What we do

Roofing Services.

Everything below is work we do ourselves, on residential roofs.

01

Roof Replacement

A full tear-off and rebuild when a roof has reached the end of its life. Old material comes off, the decking gets checked, and the new system goes on properly rather than over the top of the old one.

02

Roof Repair

Leaks, missing or lifted shingles, damaged flashing and failing valleys. If a repair is genuinely the right answer, we will tell you that rather than selling you a roof you do not need yet.

03

Storm Damage Roofing

Wind and hail damage after a storm, including the parts you cannot see from the ground. We inspect the whole roof and document what we find, so you know the actual extent of it.

04

Roof Inspections

A straight assessment of what condition the roof is in and roughly how much life is left in it. Useful before buying, after a storm, or when you are simply not sure.

05

Shingle Roofing

Architectural and three-tab asphalt shingle roofs, the most common system on homes across Georgia and Tennessee. Installed to the manufacturer's spec, including underlayment and ventilation.

06

Metal Roofing

Standing seam and metal panel roofing where a homeowner wants a longer-lasting system. We will walk you through how it compares with shingle on cost, lifespan and appearance.

Repair or replace

How to Tell Which One You Need.

This is the question almost every homeowner calls about, and the honest answer is that it depends on things you cannot see from the ground. These are the factors that actually decide it:

We will tell you which one your roof needs and why, in writing. If a repair buys you several more years, that is what we will recommend.

How it works

From Inspection to Final Walkthrough.

The same person stays with your roof from the first visit to the last.

1

Roof Inspection

We get on the roof, look at the decking, flashing and valleys, and tell you what we actually find.

2

Written Scope

Materials, sequence and cost in writing before anything starts. You know what system is going on your house.

3

Tear-Off and Install

Old material comes off, the decking is checked and repaired where needed, and the new roof goes on.

4

Final Walkthrough

We walk the finished roof and the property with you before the job is called complete.

On your property

Licensed, Insured, and Accountable.

Roofing is the trade where it matters most who is actually on your property. For most homeowners the worry is not the shingles — it is whether the work will be done correctly, and whether anyone will tell them what is happening while it is.

Elevation is licensed and insured, and safety is one of the standards the company was built on rather than something raised after a problem. You get a written scope before anything starts and the same point of contact from the first inspection through to the final walkthrough, so the cost and the sequence are not a surprise.

Common questions

Roof Repair and Replacement Questions.

The things homeowners ask us most often about their roofs.

What are the signs my roof needs attention?

Stains on a ceiling or in the attic, shingles that are cupping, curling or missing, granules collecting in the gutters, daylight visible through the roof boards, or a section that looks like it is sagging. Any one of those is worth an inspection before it becomes a bigger job.

Can you tell me whether I need a repair from a photo?

No, and we would not try. A photo shows the surface, and most of what decides repair against replacement is underneath it — the decking, the flashing and how far water has already travelled. That is what the inspection is for, and it is free.

Should I choose shingle or metal?

Asphalt shingle is the most common system on homes here and costs less up front. Metal costs more to install and lasts considerably longer. Which one makes sense depends on how long you plan to stay in the house and what the rest of the roofline looks like — we will go through both with you rather than pushing one.

What happens after a storm?

Get it looked at even if nothing is obviously wrong. Wind and hail damage frequently is not visible from the ground, and it does not announce itself until the next heavy rain. We inspect the whole roof and document what we find so you have a clear record of the damage.

Do you work on anything other than roofs?

Yes. Elevation also handles siding and gutters, bathroom remodeling and full residential construction. If a storm takes the roof and the siding, it stays with one company instead of being split between trades.
